The Interior and Environmental Design major of graduate study has the goal to producing professionals who can take roles in both academic research and professional occupations through education and research. Those who develop research to innovate design can contribute to improve interior and environments in which we live our lives. The program operates synthetically with theoretical and practical studies for planning, design, and the evaluation of built environments. The alumni play key roles in diverse fields, such as in the design and housing field, like interior design firms, architectural firms, the architecture and design-related departments within large enterprises, housing development companies and in research fields, like researchers.
