Mathematics is a basic language of science which is widely used in various fields such as natural sciences, engineering, and even in humanities and social sciences etc.

It is study of topics such as numbers, structure, space and change using the human activities like sports, to building, business, technology and science. It is applicable to the fundamentals of all fields covering the applied sciences such as engineering, electronics, computing, medicine, economics etc. and the natural sciences such as physics, chemistry, biology, earth and environment etc. In each field, it also supports logical systems and ideas which help to solve various important problems.

The mathematics is widely comprised of Algebra, which is studying of structures of arithmetic operation on numbers and sets, etc., Analysis, which is studying of properties of functions, etc., Geometry and Topology, which is studying of structures of spaces, etc., Applied Mathematics and so on.

Those various fields of mathematics are not only independent research areas themselves but also are closely related to each other.

Therefore, it is essential for the students majoring in both mathematics and other fields to construct a durable academic foundation by studying the mathematics.
